Software
that Creates Original Content that AI Can’t Replace
Writer: Exponect.com Team
Defining the "Soft" in Software
"Soft"
is used in contrast to "Physical." Physical means something that
contains material and can be touched. Software, on the other hand, is invisible
and intangible. In your computer, laptop, or other digital devices, software
exists only as instructions that make your device work.
For
example, your mobile and digital devices run on things you cannot touch:
Operating Systems (OS):
Windows, macOS, Linux.
Application Software:
Microsoft
Word, Google Chrome, etc.
As
we discuss how AI cannot produce original content, we must remember that AI
itself is a software. In other words, AI machines have software installed
specifically to generate content based on pre-existing data.
Unfolding the Mystery: The Invisible Storehouse
Before
diving deep into this article to unfold the mystery, I would like to ask you a
question.
What
is the software that creates original content? Do you know about this Soft
Product? Have you amazed?
Ok,
I break the silence here.
The
only software in the world is Human Thinking. Human Thinking is a "soft
product" within the physical hardware of the brain, which is present
within the human body. Thinking is a software that you cannot touch with your
hands, just as system software is not touchable by human beings. Similarly,
thinking is not tangible.
In
this context, the word “software” is used as a metaphor for human thinking that
exists within the system of the human body and soul. With the hardware of the
brain, you use the Software of Thinking to produce original content that AI
cannot produce.
Why is it Called "Intelligence" if it Can't Think?
The
mystery is solved now. Stop! The game started now.
Most
people mistakenly believe that Artificial Intelligence (AI) "thinks"
like a human. In reality, the truth is quite the opposite. AI possesses only
data, whereas humans possess intellect and intent.
The Great Deception: Mimicry vs. Reality
AI
is called "Artificial Intelligence" because it simulates human
actions, but it lacks the "brain" or biological consciousness of a
human being. A perfect analogy is that of artificial flowers: while they may
look identical to the original flower from which fragrance comes, they cannot
be the original flower. They lack organic life.
Similarly,
AI can produce summaries of texts with different words and phrases, but the
core idea remains the same as content already written by human writers in this
world. This means AI merely imitates or mimics human beings.
The Edison Test: Human Intellect vs. Machine Data
Let’s
analyze the fundamental difference through the legendary example of Thomas
Edison and his invention of the light bulb.
1. Original Idea vs. Existing Data
When
Edison set out to invent the light bulb, he didn’t have a pre-existing
"database" to guide him. He had to visualize a solution to a problem
(darkness) that did not yet exist.
The Human:
Creates
original solutions from nothing but imagination and necessity.
The AI:
It
can never generate a truly original idea. It merely reshuffles and recombines
information stored in its Repository (Digital Storehouse).
2. Persistence vs. Calculation
Edison
famously conducted 10,000 failed experiments before succeeding. He noted:
"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." AI
never truly "fails" because it doesn’t experiment; it only calculates
probabilities. Edison learned by physically observing reality, whereas AI only
recognizes patterns in words and numbers without understanding the physical
world.
3. Will vs. Instructions
Human
intellect grants the freedom to make decisions and discover new paths. As a
machine, AI has no will of its own; it is strictly bound by the instructions
provided to it. It cannot create or think of anything new of its own volition.
The Role of the Original Writer: Assistant vs. Boss
My
next question is: If human beings can produce original content, then why do
they use AI tools?
An
Original Writer does not use AI tools to copy-paste content. He uses his
creative thinking to generate new ideas and then converts these ideas into
written content. He does not follow AI blindly but instructs AI to be his
assistant, not his boss.
In
practical life, people follow their Boss. Using AI content blindly means you
are merely a follower of AI instructions. Instead, you should give prompts to
AI to perform specific tasks, such as:
Checking
grammar and spelling.
Correcting
mistakes.
Converting
texts into tables.
Summarizing
long content into small points for easy comprehension to save time.
Instead
of copying content from AI, choose important elements that you can use to produce
new ideas or relate one idea to another to solve problems for human beings.
Edison and the Bulb for Content Creation
Did
Edison use AI? No. In his era, AI was not present. Edison used his own thinking
to invent the bulb.
In
the modern era of AI, many people want "ready-made" content, similar
to ready-made garments sold in online marketing. However, Edison invented the
bulb without using any content present online. He tried again and again,
failing many times before succeeding.
His
failures became a part of his real-life experience. His experiments made him an
expert for his future business. This Experience and Expertise are exactly what
Google mentions in its E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness,
Trustworthiness) guidelines.
Conclusion: Human Thinking as a Software
In
light of the above discussion, we come to the conclusion that Human Thinking is
a software that can be used to create helpful content according to Google
E-E-A-T. Thinking functions like the system software of the human brain.
AI
is a "Mimicking Machine." It can simulate human intellect with great
proficiency, but it cannot think like a human. It is merely a Vast Repository—a
massive digital storehouse of words—that provides answers by performing complex
mathematical calculations. Edison invented the bulb not because of AI content.
Even if AI had been present in his era, it could not have replaced his
originality and innovative thinking.
The Verdict:
AI
has the science of mathematics. It can collect and process data but human
beings have the mind to use for imagination and thinking.
Point to Ponder:
As
a member of Exponect.com Team, I am leaving a question for you to force you to
use software of thinking.
If
you can create original content and AI can’t produce like it. then
Why do you use plagiarism checker tools?
